Yesterday was one of those days that I did NOT want to go to the gym. After a weekend of gorging, I felt jiggly and lazy. The nice thing about the stronglifts program is that it doesn’t take too long – it usually takes me 30-40 minutes to get through a workout, and b/c it uses lifts that require multiple muscle groups, I get decent cardio as well.

Squats: 135 5×5

Overhead Press: 115 5×5

Deadlift: 205 5×5

Chinups: 1×3, Assisted pullups: 55lb counterweight 1×6, 40lb cw 2×4

  • Decided to do assisted pullups to help me train to be able to do one full pullup one day

Plank: 3×0:60

Midweek Weigh-In: 192lbs. Applebee’s, Il Mee, Shin Chon, brownies/cookies, dinner at friend’s home 2 nights in a row, BD’s Mongolian grill = 5lbs in 5 days. Time to get back to it!

    Congrats on making it to the gym even though you didn’t feel like it! Way to get back on track!

    I felt the same way Tuesday. I didn’t make it to the gym that day.
